I've seen the posters of 'The Dictator' starring Sacha Baron Cohen and it hit me - this character is the spitting image of Prince with his 'new look' (but minus the beard)! Please find romo photos please!

WHAT WE HAVE COVERED THUS FAR ON THE ORG

Prince we want to hear some of the classics... but not the popular/radio friendly ones that everyone knows.

Prince we want music from the Vault... but you can't change a single note or lyric from the songs I've had illegally for 2 decades.

Prince is bald... but I don't like his hair in this new style.

Prince should communicate more with his fans... but not through interviews.

Prince should never start another website... but everyone other musician has one so why doesn't he?

Prince is mean to his fanbase... but I'm going to keep giving him my money at concerts and on his music.

[Edited 4/26/12 10:38am]

u forgot 2 add: Prince's fans that don't like a song, album or tour, protegee should NOT post their thoughts and feelings cause it's not a positive outcome on this site. We must ALL PRAISE the god known as PRINCE

Actually I don't mind people's opinions on Prince. The thing that bugs me is that you have people on here who basically hate the current NPG lineup and everything they do but then they compulsively follow their every move and regurgitate the same opinion over and over. We heard you the first hundred times. Why are people following a band they don't like so closely? Wait till Prince shuffles the deck again and then jump back onboard and see if it's to your liking.

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

u know and i know that there are people on this site that like nothing past the revolution days so i don't think it's just about the current line up of the npg. but that being said, not every lineup of the npg has been that great either ..kirky j on the drums anyone? cora? people love rhonda but didn't like josh. 4 me this incarnication of the npg is mixed, there are elements (blackwell on the drums, renato, ida is cool) and not some elements.

but in the end it's the band leader that some people have a problem with in terms of what's being played like beatdeadhorse or that it seems the spark is gone from him. the whole "be grateful we still have him around" is ok if ur looking at artist who just goes with the flow when the majority knows that this isn't the artist they have enjoyed for however many years they have been into his music.

factor in as well the lousy business decisions he's made and yes there will be frustrations and it's being expressed. the mudslinging 2 those that disagree with the direction shouldn't be met with a firing squad aimed at them for the beliefs.

but those that praise 2 high heaven shouldn't be offended as well if it's giving back either.

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Castor when it is harvested is very toxic depending on the process and working conditions. The people that bear the brunt of it are the poor women (generally in India etc.) who are desperate for work and are forced economically to harvest it. You can get safely harvested pure grade from some places in Italy etc but it is very expensive. So, cold pressed coconut oil is a much better choice all around. Bentonite clay is a great scalp detoxer and will all pull toxins from the skin and hair. You can make a paste and apply it to your scalp and hair and it will condition the hair as well.

African Americans spend hundreds of millions of dollars every year in America on hair products and over whelmingly outspend other so called minorities on hair care products. Coincidence, I doubt it. It is sad to see the thinly veiled racism in the comments here regarding Prince's more natural look. What is really being said is pretty clear. European "straight" hair is better, more attractive, acceptable, blah blah blah. It doesn't seem to matter how toxic and cancer causing all these straightners, chemicals and dyes are. I mean what is getting cancer compared to having "better style'. How patheticly shallow.

I think it is great he is going for a more natural look. All the chemicals that are used to straighten hair are totally toxic and cancer causing.

Hair can be straightened without the use of chemicals.

Thanks I was going to say the same.

And I believe now, for all hair types there are more natural safe products out there

There have been irons and now ionizers to straighten hair for many years. That is not how the majority of it is done and the vast majority of the products used on hair are not non-toxic, far from it. And I say again that the majority of negative comments on here are nothing more than thinly veiled racism.

To quote KCool rolleyes

Hair can be straightened a number of ways without chemicals by flat iron, pressing comb, blow dryer with comb attachment, roller set and more. The hair is stretched over rollers and set under a dryer, or air dried. You really don't know what percentage uses what to straighten their hair.

You mentioned castor oil again in another post of yours, and it's expense. Jamaican Black Castor Oil is specifically used to thicken hair. It is made in Jamaica, and not expensive. You post that coconut oil is much better. Again, we were adressing thinning hair, and that is what the castor oil is used for.

As for racism, I posted in here in a joking manner about me wanting to braid D'Angelo's hair. That is hair in it's natural state, and cornrowed. That is a look popular with black men, not white men. Obviously I like that look on him, (becasue I volunteered to do it), and did not post with digust.

Last, there are tons of posts admiring Prince and his look on For You. This half straight, half not straight mini fro was about taste, not racism.

We can agree to disagree, this thread is already several weeks old.
