What song do you thrill to?

I was just listening to my "Prince Top-rated" playlist and Life Can Be So Nice came on. Lemme tell you - it was like I got a jolt of electricity. My heart skipped a beat...my face got hot. From the first note, that song amps me all the way up.

What Prince song do you thrill to?

Harlepolis

There're many to mention, but as of late discovery, I'd say his performance of "Too Sexy" with Sheila E.'s band. That shit damn near killed me when I was doing my cardio training, it was SO hype!

Strange coincidence, I just had the Under Cherry Moon Soundtrack on, and I was thinking to myself how amazing "Life Can Be So Nice" is, opened this post and viola!

I have been going thru a 86 to 88 phase the last few weeks, listening to Charade, Dream Factory and Crystal Ball, some of that stuff still sounds refreshing 25 or so yrs later... cool

If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

Life Can Be So Nice definitely. Also, All My Dreams. Others: Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad?, The Glamorous Life (still! After about a billion listens), Strange Relationship, and Computer Blue.

More than that, in my case. But to say anything beyond that would be TMI. lol

What I would give to have been a part of that audience, though I wasn't even born yet haha.

That guitar is something else, listening to it right now. Sweeping, the escalation between tempo, improvisation... it's just fucking magic.

And to add to the thread, Paisley Park (original and extended) very much thrill me. That jam is very much midwest summer music. Too bad I don't have a car, I would bump that shit relentlessly, wierd looks endured and all.
