***I never listen to Emancipation all the way through.
***I love "Do U Lie" and "The Arms Of Orion".
***"Hot Thing" boasts a hot groove,but the lyrics are whack....too simplistic ("barely 21....looking for big fun"??)

I actually hate most of the 12" mixes. I love a few (Let's Go Crazy, Pop Life), but hate.. "Raspberry Beret", "U Got The Look", and though I haven't heard it in a long time, I recall disliking "Little Red Corvette". [Edited 3/6/12 4:27am] | |

I do, too. It's my understanding "Do U Lie?" is universally loved (because "everything from 1980-1988 is perfect").

I love it because he looks so bitched up and pretty in that image... its SO Prince!
The shock factor when it came out was also hilarious to me. People really thought Prince was off his rocker when they saw that album cover.
