I listen to alot of music and varied artists and have heaps of live music DVD's, but I have notived when I get drunk I always seem to end up playing my fave Prince dvd's and cranking my home stereo !! My neighbours must love my Live at Montreux DVD at 3am.

My mates joke about this all the time and I wondered if I am alone on this ?

I usually play other artists when I am drunk. Prince is a little too mellow and when I am drunk I crank up something with a little more rock in it.

When me and my girlfriend were in our last flat, I think i remember subjecting a number of people to watching Purple rain after a night on the town

A few weeks ago I played "Electric Intercourse" to a friend - who is a casual fan, but not a bootleg collector - and when Prince hits that scream at the end I started tearing. He had to comfort me by tapping me on the back. I suppose I was pretty damn drunk.

Getting drunk makes me wanna get the people Im around to listen to more Prince.. At some parties Im not allowed to put music on. They clearly don't appreciate great music

I've never been drunk. I somehow still manage to enjoy the shit out of his music from time to time, anyway.

I don't need to get high or drunk to enjoy favourite artists. MJ and sometimes Prince in concert on tapes or youtube make me super hyper.....
