Yes, especially his funky songs like D.M.S.R., Lady Cab Driver, 1+1+1 Is 3 and Le Grind. Some of Prince's ballads work very well too, for example Do Me, Baby and Underneath The Cream. Being appropriately drunk can add a new dimension to his music, making the funky songs even funkier and the ballads even more beautiful.

I don't need to get high or drunk to enjoy favourite artists. MJ and sometimes Prince in concert on tapes or youtube make me super hyper.....

This.

I've never understood the idea that you need an an external, artificial entity screwing with your brain chemistry in order for you to enjoy something. Like, what - your natural inherent sense of imagination, enthusiasm and fun are that handicapped that you can't take pleasure in anything without some sort of manmade 'help'? lol

I used to get stoned and listen to Romance 1600 pitched down stoned

sign o the times is my favourite spliffbanger. prince would be pleased to know that i've never tried horse in june.

I feel both of you, big time.

But the ultimate Prince to listen to whilst stoned is The Time's first album (that counts as Prince, right?).

And when Im drunk, I dont usually go for Prince. Old school gangster rap does it for me.

Prince is STONER music! nod

you know it my friend. when i'm blotto (drunk) i go for something punky, maybe some ramones, stooges, the damned. love my old school rap too, if u havent already, check out "patriot games" by gunshot. best rap to come out of uk by a mile. roots manuva is a uk rapper i love smoking to, very reggae tinged.

i find weed perfect for listening to prince, in fact i'm gonna skin a biffter up right now and whack that 1st time album on. wink

I love the fact I can get "drunk" without being drunk. It's sugar highs and the concerts and I'm wild and inspired. Sometimes it resulted in dancing away great and feeling hyper, or writing for hours
