Love this era Fun times for Prince concert hopping in Vegas. I was at the opening weekend show at 3121 Vegas, and the 3 people I was with, plus myself, along with about 20 other lucky fans, who were in line waiting to go into the venue, had our pics taken by Prince's assistant "Sam" at the time.

We had no idea what he was going to do with those pics, but once fans were let inside to the show, just before the show started, all of a sudden, there were the pics of the fans who had their pics taken with their friends , including mine and the group I was with, flashing across the 12 jumbo screens. I didn't even realize what was happening until I heard some fans screaming in joy, when they saw their pics on the screens. We were like kids jumping in joy because we got some unexpected candy. We had no idea that was going to happen when Sam approached us outside the venue, while were were waiting in line just outside the venue. What a surprise that was and those pics were shown that whole weekend before and after the show!! Fun times!!!!

I attended a show in April of 2007 which was also part of an org meetup with a bunch of orgers.

We were sort of near the end of the line. One of the orgers who had been to the previous show on Friday night talked with the bouncer who, when it was time to go in, we got to go in at the front of the line and we had front row!! It was an open floor with no seating.

I was standing in front of where the guitar tech was so I got to see the guitars. I asked him if I could have a guitar pic and he snuck one into my hand and told me not to tell anyone.

Yes of course I screamed with everyone else...louder than a Banshee...

It was the night of the opening of the 3121 Club in Vegas at the Rio--November 11th and 12th shows in 2006.

I was also at the Empire Vegas show on May 27th through 28th and had a great time. I was unexpectedly called on stage by Prince to dance with Tamar and the Twinz, on Saturday, May 27th, 2006 at the Empire Club in Vegas. I had no idea what kind of dance I was doing, but everybody and their mamas and papas and future grandchildren know that when Prince calls you on stage to dance, whether you dance with one foot or two, you get up on stage and dance, no questions asked. Anyway, I had a great time.

I was also at the Rio in Vegas, the night before May 26th to see Larry Graham and Morris Day and the Time perform. Prince also got on stage with either Larry or Morris and the Time (sorry-can't remember which one-my memory is fading on that one) and performed a little with them. Great memories...fun time.

They were elated about it.

I got a high-five from Prince at that March show, as well as some other fans at that show who were in front of the stage, and me and 2 other fans were lucky to have Prince hand us black, mock maraccas. I still have it as a souvenir from that show. He only had 3 to handout, and I guess we were standing in the right place at the right time that night to get one. Fun times!

That weekend at the Empire Club in Vegas in 2006, was the first time I met several Prince fans like Babynoz, Vendetta1, Jseven, and a host of others.

They were 'prop' maraccas, not real ones, that he handed out to 2 other fans as well, not just to me. All 3 of us just happened to be standing in the right place at the right time, when he was giving them out. He only had 3 to give out, but it still was nice of him to give them to some of his fans. Other fans received a towel he threw into the audience while performing, and one fan got a tambourine. I thought it was nice when he started 'high-fiving' some fans. It was awesome because he connected well with the audience during those shows. The fun part was throwing up the '3121' hand sign, and hearing the various versions of 3121 played live with a horn section. The horn section gave that track a New Orleans sound. Anyway it was a fun time travelling to those shows and enjoying the performances. Still don't know how the Twinz managed to dance in those stilettos, but they did well.

I found that The Jazz Cuisine restaurant was already closed when I got to The Rio.

Soul queen CHAKA KHAN thrilled Las Vegas clubbers last week (ends17NOV06) when she became the first guest performer at pal PRINCE's new Club 3121.

The I'M EVERY WOMAN singer took the stage for a show that was free to Las Vegas locals.

Prince is hoping to stage a string of big name surprises at his new club, housed in the Rio resort.

The club also features a fine-dining restaurant, 3121 Jazz Cuisine, which includes the cuisine of Prince's longtime personal chef LENA MORGAN.

I loved everything about 3121 Vegas especially the after shows, i wouldnt leave them untill daylight sometimes. The club , the special guests , the food . it was perfect!!!!!!!

He should do something like this in Minneapolis
