Norman was fine. It was that damn mother of his. (spoiler alert next time)

This is the post & the scoop of the year...what we learn.....Prince has recorded in studio something somewhere.....WOW.......what we know now = nothing = Officialy a chance to see a new Album soon or in the next months to come are near from 0 my friends!

Did anyone consider this new album being a live CD? He's been touring like mad. Those 11 days in the studio might turn out to be a listening and selection session from 100s of recently recorded concerts. Just speculating.

I'll believe this when I see it. We all know how Prince is, he sometimes says that he's going to do something, then he changes his mind.

my mate dave from the carboot sales said that his mate knows someone who's girlfriend knows a guy who said that prince is recording a funky concept album based on the sound of music as the movie was one of his favourite things

the method of recording does not change the quality of the song itself - would the trash that was sold as MPLS funk sound any better with different technology? Nope! - they would still largely be a collection of crap songs. Lets hope that the lryic, groove and melody [you know, the stuff that made him great in the 1st place!] come first and then and only then should he think about the best way of recording them.

I'll buy it, but for me, as long as he remains brainwashed by Larry's cult, it won't be the same. It's like buying a censored Tupac album. Something will be missing. He'll say it's funky, but it won't be.

How does 1 great song, 2-3 good songs and 6-7 decent songs (and I'm being really lenient here) entail that a project is a masterpiece? If you have to bury under other songs to find these so called gems then the project obviously isn't a masterpiece because a masterpiece is flawless.

Also, constructive criticism is not 'hating'. If we all followed your example every album/song/project Prince has ever recorded would be rated a 10/10 masterpiece and that is not the case.
