Question about the Hohner Artist Elite guitars So I'm thinking about investing in a new guitar and I'm curious about the Hohner Elite guitars. I've heard the HTA490 and it sounds nice but it's cheaply made and + I already have Chinese Strat. Im looking for a guitar with the funky sound. The HTA490 definitely has that funky sound but the pickups on the Elite guitars are different and the body is made out of different wood as well. (swamp ash on the artist elite and alder on the black prince) Anyway, Does anyone know how the Artist Elite and Black Prince sound and if u own any of them what would u recommend. And mods sry if it's in the wrong section I saw a previous discussion about the HTA490 in this forum  | |

If you're going to spend that kind of money just have Warmoth make you a custom all-maple telecaster with the walnut stripe down the middle. You'll have to assemble it yourself, but it will be a damned good guitar. | |

Yea i was thinking about building a custom guitar, Its a lot more expensive. Ill check out that site tho | |
