Did Prince ever perform on Soul Train? If he didn't, why not?

he did in 94 but it sucked because he lipsynced. Performed 4 songs if I remember right, Acknowledge me, love sign, most beautiful girl and .......(someone help me with the last one, cant remember and dont feel like watching it)

Yes he did during his symbol era in 1994. Holly Robinson Peete was the host. Off the top of my head I only remeber him performing Days Of Wild, the other songs someone will surely come up with plus more info about that show.

i dont remember seeing days of wild. was that an unaired bonus? I may be missing that if so

Wow, how in the world did I miss it then? LOL. I just finished watching his appearance from last month on Le Gran Journal show that was taped in Paris and came to 2 different conclusions:

-The new band is pretty uh....*cough* not as good as bands from the past. I'm no musician but while watching the DMSR performance I thought, "Is it me or is this band off?" sure enough a few seconds later Prince said "Stay on time with the drummer" so then I knew I wasn't crazy, LOL!

-Prince seems to have a tight bond with Shelby, who obviously adores him. Seems like she so smitten with him when I see them on stage and in interviews (as the one I just mentioned above)

Ok, ok, 3rd observation---Andy is just there for looks and seems to enjoy being Prince's stage/real life play thing for now....hey Andy, whatever you do, don't turn 26 on P or its a wrap! LOL!
