OK...

but my guess is you won't get that many visitors here with that headline...

something about a new soundboard would be a lot better, that's my guess.

You like a band rehearsing live with a sound that has aged terribly more than a tight-ass band with John Blackwell, Renato, Ronda and Prince killing it on Empty Room, When the lights go down or All the Critics love U in Montreux.

I just listened to two samples and it's 1000 times better than anything on your boring 84 soundboard everybody is pretending (to have the Bart attitude) to be the best boot eva. Ridiculous.

It's true for me in another way, I only really get excited hearing new songs live now. I love the "sound check" intro to one of the concerts from a few weeks ago with a new song. I want Prince to play new songs or if it's an old song on an old recording, something unusual.

The old stuff is cool, but unless it's a new song for even back then (and on that recent boot it's "All Day All night" that scratches the itch) it doesn't get as exciting for me.

I remember first popping in The Beautiful Experience soundboard boot... new songs a plenty... so good.

These will probably sound nice, but eye will still be selling this release.

After all the free releases that they have leeched one might think that they could repay those labels by giving this release to fans for free, but of course that will never happen.

I feel like the people who are calling this boring are

1) Not musicians

2) Close-minded

I mean, I love the '84 Birthday Show and its place in Prince history but I'm just as excited about the Montreux show being in Soundboard. In my eyes, this is one of Prince's best shows. I've listened to this full show a lot. He was on fire in every regard (and he played, if I'm not mistaken, nearly the whole show on my favorite guitar of his as opposed to the Hohner).

Yeah, this is going to be remarkable. Im buying this.

Prince can say he's not putting out another album, fine with me. The fan/bootleg releases this year alone are better than any official out put from him in the past 3+ years.

As I have been doing with all the live stuff from Musicology onwards, I'll grab (for free, of course) and archive.

Give me Prince concerts when they were really exciting to listen to.

I don't think I can listen to 3 Montreux songs without falling asleep.

And, people, remember these are extremely easy to get for free. Don't put the money on those SOAB's pockets!
