"People Pleaser" was boring and unnecessary. The "Funky" jam was a nice enough intro.

It's interesting to see alexandrnevermind or whatever being positive for once, but I think he's hearing something that's not there when he says she fills out the band's sound... her guitar wasn't even working!

That 'Purple Rain' segment was unnecessary, Prince must have felt so uncomfortable

Apart from that, the performance exceeded the one on the Lopez Show by far.

I just wish he extended on 'Shhh'

I have to strongly disagree on this one. This is a hell of a cool song. Instantly catchy as nothing he has done in a long long time if it's one of his songs. I like the arrangement, I like the "less is more" spareness of this arrangement. A 20ten type studio arrangement could really forever turn me turn me off to this song, but I have to give props to this song.

On a more positive though, I thought Prince was GORGEOUS!!!! Hmm, hmm, hmm! Those boots are hot as hell!!! He was working that outfit like only he can. Prince is forever a bad, SEXY dude and funky as ever. I really wish he'd change up the line up a bit, they are so uninspiring. I get the "blahest" of feelings lately...

I don't think she's high up in the mix on those Prince songs. I don't think she's had the rehearsal time yet to really get into it, and I don't think she's really a permanent piece to the band anyway. Though, I think she's got some potential being the rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist for the band.

OK, let me say what my mind is flooding! Haha. THIS IS FANTASTIC! Prince looked like he would during the SOTT era. He did not burrow that outfit..LOL. It's something he did for himself! Haha. While seeing everything, I kept saying: "WOW, Prince is in rare form tonight"! I really enjoyed his guitar work! He played the heck out of those guitars, I guess at the end of D.M.S.R he felt no need to play after delivering so well..What more could he prove? Haha. He went in "BEAST" Mode, & I think this is partly due to his tiredness from a long flight, etc. Somethings were off and odd while watching, but it was apart of the feel for me. I don't know? Something about this that has me on the edge of my seat! AND ANDY is SO damn attractive..WOW! She really pulled me in by simply just being there. Haha. I enjoyed her addition to the set, even her vocals for "People Pleaser" Haha..Nevertheless this was just something to see, and I think Prince is pretty proud in what he accomplished despite the technical changes. I hope for the W2A footage to come out on DVD!!! On another note, I am getting sick and tired of Shelby J. hahaha. I kind of agree that she is the new Tony. M. lol. I am waiting for her to say "Stand back, and let me see the booty boom" Hahaha..I mean I love her smile, and her style and her voice is decent as well. BUT seeing her this much makes me very bored of her. I hate when she raps, leave that to Cat. hahaha.She is not bringing anything new to the table IMO, she would be less annoying just as the twins if they show up ever so often.There is so much that went on in this performance, that really made me come back to the love for Prince. His recent "Controversial" Comments made me stray for I guess...THAT day..then he comes THIS day...BLOWING me away. He has mastered the art of mystery, and that is why I love the guy so much! Europe is blessed to have him there, I am sure they will thoroughly enjoy him as I did watching this performance. He does seem more relaxed there in Europe. (Who could blame him? Europe is a beautiful place and I can't wait to move there in a couple of months!) I know for the most part he is a joker and he's not as serious as people think. He's like an illusionist, yet one of the realest genuine cats in the game..(Still doesn't excuse him for some crap he says..lol) BUT this was PACKING. I was kinda shocked to see Andy Allo in Prince's band. I came to know her because of her gig on G4, and I know she's been hanging around P a lot since the Forum shows.

I've heard her songs and she's really talented and obviously really really pretty.

I'm happy for her and jealous of Prince 'cause I've got a bit of a crush on her!

The vibe was hot. Very fun.

Compare this to some songs played in leno 2001-2004 (dorothy parker, everlasting now, musicology) the band was WAY tighter back then. First two songs were messy as hell. Please fire shelby and those other stage ornaments as well. It got better to the end, anotherlover was cool, too bad he didn't play the whole version of Shh.

What the hell are you talking about?!!!!! I watched it live on TV with my great sound system and it is just amazing. They were just back from Montreal. They headed off straight to Canal + after this long trip. Showing such energy... woaw... I'm speechless. I thought this band is tight as hell. Ida is amazing and John Blackwell is well, John Blackwell. This was real music. No rehearsal. Nothing. They just played like they would in a Club.
