It's a new song, tentative title is We Live, We get Funky, that was the opening song in Montreal 24/6, it contains elements from Redhead Stepchild and the guitar line from Rave.

While for fans this was good, for publicity reasons this was awful.

The SDF is only half full for the moment. Anyone watching tonight who might be half thinking of going is gonna run the other direction with all the time he gave over to his semi-talented Jehovah Witness backing band/singers.

Xliberian girl provided the liink - watching it now. Love that song she sang with him called "People Pleaser". He did say to the audience '"We have a niew on on the scene" and introduced Andy Allo. So it is apparent she is the newest member of the band.

here is an attempt on what was said, not necessarly in order - (and excuse me for my english):

1) it was asked if it was not too scary and difficult to work for Prince. Nobody was answering (I got the feeling that they were really looking for the right answer as Prince was not really joking (facial impression) when this question was asked, like Oh my, Am I that mean? is it really the reputation I have?) - they looked "scared", so Andy replied that she was scared now but laughing and that her main job was to keep him smiling on pic. He looks too serious on them and he is really not like that. he was making faces, to stay serious, like when he sucks lemon on pic.

2) if it was difficult to learn those 300 songs and how the band knows when to play them since Prince change his mind on stage, Shelby said that they have to focus on him, be aware all the time to get his decision at the right time. They rehearse a lot, very intense.

Both of them praised him, he is such a performer, amazing to work with him etc

3) in the beginning of the interview, Prince apologize for his outfit, said that he just got off the plane and he was dressed this way for his previous show in Montreal, and said that he didn't sleep. He said also that he loves Paris.

4) it was asked to him if he thinks that records are dead. He said "here we go again" smiling a bit. He answered that he thinks that it is better to go to shows to listen to music. Said they were going to Danemark for the NPG Festival.

He reacted the same as on the View, like "oh ok, then goodbye" and made them believe he was leaving the set. She confirmed that when Prince says that he can stay and play for 3 hours or more, it is happening. I think she is definitly a Fan.

I belive it was extraordinary, amazing, fantastic - I can't find the exact word,

not saying you are wrong,

who knows these days what the public, the masses outside his fanbase, is thinking.

I just know I ENJOYED this performance a lot...

It was funky, crazy...... I am high at the moment, purple high!!

damn i didnt see the interview, dmsr ,johnny be good ,or p.rain and about 3 secs od shhh and then it went off i hope this was a recording and the full show will re-air again this week

I agree! I think this is a good promo actually. If you think this performance sucks, well than you can better go to a Black Eyed Peas show(Also in Stade de France this week or last week..) or something.

A good moment for fans of Prince.

Thanks. Prince and the band members walked onto the interview plafform with "LayDown" playing in the background. I like how Cassandra, Andy, Liv, and Shelby all sang "JohnnyBGood" while Prince played the guitar. You could see the audience really enjoying their presence.
