Just think about it...

If Prince had his own Youtube channel, I'm pretty sure he'd have a couple million subs pretty quick [he'd probably have at least ten million subs after that, etc]. Then he'd quickly have a partnership with Youtube & make money off of posting his live performances & maybe even give some studio exclusives. I'm pretty sure he'd disable adding comments & likes too, so he'd never have to respond to anyone. And hey, at least it would be better than someone just bootlegging his shit & putting out there for free...

Of course he'd get into a big fight with Youtube over profits with his partnership [I wouldn't expect anything to run smoothly with Prince whatsoever ], but hey, at least it's an idea....

What are your thoughts on this one?????

I'm for certain it wouldn't happen. But I believe it would give him more exposure to younger audiences & he'd make $ without having to do much. If he had at least 10 million subs, he'd make some really decent money too...

Definitely. I'm also from the ''younger audience'', most young people don't know very much about Prince, too bad..

Well, being that it cost nothing to sub to a youtube page, I'm pretty sure people wouldn't be that mad this time. People were really mad at the fact that they paid for a subscription & didn't get much in the end....

If Prince had a youtube channel you would have to pay to subscribe. Otherwise Prince wouldn't ever have a youtube channel.

of course not. Which is why it won't ever happen. I still think he's missing out though not having one.....He would have less problems selling records. Prince just may be WAAYYYY too ahead of his time now that I think about it.....

no, think about it. If youtube was around at the time Prince was embrassing the Internet, he might own a piece of it by now. When Prince was on the internet, everybody else wasn't there yet [when it comes to selling music online]. Now that's almost the only way nowdays, & Prince thinks "The Internet is Dead"....

I can't see him getting to 10 million subs.

I think he would struggle to get 1 million subs.

I don't think so. it's free to sub. I've subbed to channels just because I like one video of someones. Imagine if Prince posted all of his old music videos in great quality on his channel. That alone would get him quite a few subs.....

YOUTUBE is FREE an his channel would have everything from PURPLE RAIN to KISS . to SHH

It would easily draw in a million plus subs ..

its free .... maybe NPG MUSIC club didnt have a million plus .. but thats cos lots of fans heard about it an hardlUTUy any joined .. because they dont like PAYING .. when BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN an every fucker else had free websites .. with regular uploads of vids .. etc etc

some other artists were giving away free downloads .... alot of people are also reluctent to buy anything over the internet .. myself included ...

Prince had a Youtube channel. It only had 2 or 3 videos on it though. One was Chocolate Box with Q-Tip in it.

What if you guys checked out my channel and I got lots of views and got paid for it? That would be cool.
