I found out this weekend that a relative of mine recently got hired personally by Prince. Considering how private Prince is, I hesitate to give identifying details but I can say that my relative never told us that they had the opportunity to previously work for him before being hired permanently. Ironically, as of late, I’d been begging them to go see Prince in concert because you never know when you’ll have another chance, u need to witness a true musical genius and a living legend, blah blah blah. But they are so professional, they never gave a hint about meeting him or working for him.

Apparently, Prince was impressed and recently hired them. I've been a Prince fan for 26 years and my relative is a member of the second generation of our family. This is the coolest thing ever as I've never met anyone who knows him personally. This unbelievable news proves it really is a small world. Fortunately their hard work paid off and I couldn't be prouder of them. It really is a dream job for those in this profession. Any of u have a similar connection? One degree, two degrees, three degrees, 20 degrees, etc....Thx for reading my long ambiguous post, just wanted to share our good news with people who can appreciate it.

Good for you for keeping their anonimity...U could have outed them and U kept it close. Congradulations on the cool news. PS... I once was looking to buy a house and the house was in a sweet purple color and found out that one of the owners was a cousin of Prince! Praying your family member much success and that they have a great relationship with Prince moving forward. Congrats!!!

I would like to not work for him personally but to run into him or work for him in a short time would be nice.. Maybe when I graduate from college.

That's great news and I'm glad you decided not to give too many details. Last year an orger indirectly got someone fired by saying too much so be careful.

They must have had fun about that. Whilst you tried to convince to go and see him, they saw him personally.
