Where is Prince on this picture?

Hello!
Can someone help me with that photograph? It seems Prince is on it but where? Which band is it? Grand Central? I'm confused.

I love it, homemade Haloween P-Funk costumes headbang. I bet they showed up in these getups whenever P-Funk would play Minneapolis in the late 70s. Kinda like Lady Gaga's fans today.

Well, since I don't see where it says that he is supposed to be in the picture, I'm not sure that he is.

However, looking at the photo and if I have to guess. I'd say he's the one in the middle in the top row. Those hands look somewhat familiar to me. wink

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

what a great pic!!!! - i initially thought it was the p-funk mob! then i recognized Jellybean Johnson and Terry Lewis, so it must be an mpls band (Flyte Time/Champagne?) - then the top middle fella looks like Prince becuz of the hands.

No Prince here. This is a mid- to late-seventies pic of Flyte Tyme. Terry Lewis is in the middle. Jellybean Johnson is in the top right. I believe that David Eiland (saxophone on many early Jam/Lewis productions) is in the lower right. And the original Flyte Tyme vocalist, Cynthia Johnson (aka... lead vocalist for Lipps, Inc. -- Funkytown) is in the lower middle. I fairly certain that Jimmy Jam and Monte Moir were not part of Flyte Tyme yet, so I'm uncertain who the three masked members are.

Hard to tell. I very much doubt Prince is any of them.

Looking at the tash I would say thats Alex O'Neil top left, Monty Moir in the top middle. The girl was a backing singer I think. Don't know her name.

I would say the same thing. Also the turtleneck is a good clue.

Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.

If that is Prince top middle, he'd have to be standing on a box or wearing higher then yo average heels, because Jellybean is way taller than Prince. smile

Little? Yeah, right. It might be little but it's loud

I wouldn't be surprised. lol Labelle's fans used to come to their shows dressed like them too. lol
