His per4mance beats any live version Of the group "The Time" It is actually my favorite part of the show. Prince makes it so funky... Like he is trying 2 let people know that he created it and owns it. He completely reclaims that song.

I would love to see it. But here in Rio I cant.

First part is at their website:

Guess the second (best) part will follow soon.

If you want to see the whole broadcast, a quick google-search will do, it's all over the net, including Shelby J's Facebook.

lol There was definitely some high energy going on in that performance, and it was very, clear footage. Prince had some serious JB footwork going on, the kind of moves he's made his own.

I got to see the whole thing... I'm so tearing up right now...

One of the fans said this "Prince has brought me through a lot"

I agree. I'm going through a divorce and it has been rough over the years. But I would go into my room, shut the door and turn on my prince and have a good 'ol time. He's my Dr. Everything'll be alright...

I posted that info in reply 181 last night, as I noticed no one else had DrF's info to the show being on his site, posted on here. I loved the "Cool" performance. Full of energy and the audience sure was having a good time.

I haven't changed my mind, this clip sucks.... sad

All those interviews are just hype, very annoying.

And the concert clip isn't that good either.

being a fan since '83 I feel frustrated and old.. damn. Why wouldn't he release a good live dvd or something..

just to cheer me up for a change. lol

don't take this opinion personal.

Peace....

Yes, so did I. I was wondering why no one caught that the show was finally on Drfunkenberry's site, and posted the info here, so I posted DrF's info here in case some peeps didn't get a chance to see it. The video was pretty clear, and I watched it in full screen on my computer. The audience in Charlotte, NC was definitely feeling Prince's energy. The backup singers did a good job too. He apparently got together with Harriet Cole Media, to put that special on the Africa Channel. Who knows, maybe he'll have some other future specials on that channel. One never knows with Prince I guess.

Yes, that was a fan on the piano dressed like the 1980s Prince. How about the annoying fan singing, screaming actually, when singing Kiss?lol Lawd, I had to close my ears.lol Other than that, I enjoyed the whole "Cool" performance.

He's had the show on his site since yesterday. Maybe

Actually, Andy Allo was on The Africa Channel's program, "Africa Soundstage," taped in Los Angeles. The network has another music show called Sound Tracks At Red Kiva taped in Chicago.

I was at the Prince concert last night in Los Angeles and could have sworn I saw her on stage with the Purple One last nite.

It's a great way to reach another demographic and smart way to do business for any musicans/artists, who chooses not to limit themselves to one particular demographic, that's how he succeeded as an artist in the first place. By the way, hmmm based on your comment, is there some magic formula in a bottle I can order for "acting Black?" Pray tell, because I'd like to sprinkle some of that on my friends, just in case we've been missing out on all that awesomeness. While you're at it, kindly include the cost of shipping and handling. Thanks in advance. thumbs up!

Yes, I know about the Red Kiva show,Africa soundstage shows. I saw Andy featured on one of those shows, a few months ago, and that's how I found out about her and also singer "Wayna". I just watched South African artist Jonathan Butler on one of those shows this past week. I thought it was nice that he had his daughter singing with him. They have great musicians/artists on both shows.

Anyway, the Africa Channel usually have their "EXCLUSIVE" specials which features interviews/concert footage of various artists. Just like how Prince's special was featured on that channel.

Attended Prince's concert at the Forum Saturday night. Someone told me they saw my sister and I on the AFrica Channel yesterday as they were showing clips from his concerts! I need that footage. Anybody know if/when they will be airing more clips from Prince's shows here in LA? I attended 3 so far, 2 with my sister, so I am not sure if the footage was from this past Saturday or past Thursday.

OMG, I beat I look like a hot, sweaty mess.
