Prince says he's Vegetarian and not Vegan...

If you caught the George Lopez show, you'll see that when George asked Prince if he's vegan Prince said he's vegetarian...any thoughts? I wonder what made him go back to dairy and/or eggs again.

Im guessing 4 health purposes, sounds strange but alot of Vegans, have to take vitamins or feed off other sources, to keep there iron up and have a stable metabolism. Im guessing with all the shows he's been doing, he's probably gotten a lil tired/weak and needed 2 regain some energy.

He's been eating vegetarian for awhile and you can actually see in his build when he changed his diet. Back in his 20's he was very muscular and was b-ballin' like crazy and home-slice was cut up all over his stomach and torso area. I've been seeing pictures floating around and he's not as ripped but, there's some muscle there and being vegetarin kept him that way. I was just tellin' wifey today that he's got like my 8 soon to be 9yr old with how he's all over the place. I wanna know where he draws all that energy from and I dont' think it's 'drugs', perhaps just b-12 shots, the rumor like I heard ...

Anyone here a vegetarian or vegan?

Depends on whether you eat well. And alot of people who eat meat and other animal products die of high cholesterol, hardening of the arteries, hyperstension, and other conditions that would likely be avoided with a vegan diet.

I would like to think that your "innocent" emoticon is genuine, and that you are being playful, rather than sarcastic. I know that quite a few people on here think veganism (and vegetarianism) are laughable, silly, and so on, but there are many people (myself included) who have very strong moral convictions about these which cannot easily be dismissed.

I think it was about all the people who ate hot dogs at summertime cookouts - right before they got sprayed by chemtrails and started actin' all crazy. confuse

Vegans do not consume dairy products, or eat flesh!

Vegetarians don't eat flesh.

He was referring to an old joke about hot dogs being made of lips and assholes. It was a running theme in a 1980s John Candy movie, I think The Great Outdoors.

so prince made a point of saying he doesn't eat red meat. does this mean he's one of those annoying 'vegetarians' who eat chicken & fish?

he's had some serious protein intake just lately judging from his physique.. i think he's eating white meat on the sly wink

Didn't he say that he was vegetarian and then *emphasize* that he definitely stays away from red meat?

I don't know why exactly; but I have the distinct impression that Mayte was influential in Prince's becoming a vegan. Does anyone have information to the contrary or in support of this hunch?
