The Divine / The 3 recent unreleased albums

''The Divine' is a song Prince has referenced in Interviews.

He said it remains unreleased as the world is not ready for it yet!

He also spoke about having made 3 recent albums not yet released (when asked at the time of 20TEN's release), any ideas what the working title of these are?

- Welcome 2 America

Have a look at 'The W2A: Euro Tour Song Survey' http://prince.org/msg/12/362417

The Divine definetly exists, but the idea that it's" too good to release" is bullshit, quite clearly. As for the album titles, they are nothing but rumour.

I'm afraid you missed the first line (Sing along, PRINCE!).

I know the song and the 3 albums have been talked about, but I wasn't talking to you.

Can you use the search function? There's really been tons of discussion about this stuff. Both "The Divine" (why does everyone nut over this song title?) and the extra albums and everything under the sun.

Of course we do not know working titles. We know the same info you know. Because the info unfolded here on the site or because we discussed it, etc.

Information is really not that hard to find. In fact, we live in the Information Age! Imagine trying to find the answers you can find today, 20 years ago. Never gonna happen! So how about you pretend that you still CARE the same about your curiousities and instead of ringing up a site and asking a random question (remember, its DEVOTED to the guy - dont u think its been covered ALREADY?), you can search through the database for an almost endless supply of stupid fucking information like working titles of Prince records.

Prince saying The Divine would be too much for people to handle reminds of the scene in Heathers where Veronica and JD get Heather #1 to drink the Drano by saying it would be "too intense" for her.

And look what happened when she drank it, smashed through a fucking plate glass table.

Although I like the Emancipation album, it sort of colored my lack of enthusiam over his "world is not ready albums"

Emancipation was dubbed the album Prince was born to make....it was hyped to shit.

So, yeah....The Dawn...The Divine...The Diva....whatever.... Does it really matter?

They'll probably be good albums, possibly on par with older material...but I doubt they'll live up to the hype.

The new Prince's material veers quite far away from things that people all Universally relate to (love, sex, spirit),

and closer to things more specific to his own dogma...Akashic records...record battles...fairness of contracts. lol zzz zzz

You're a real fucker. You act like you own this place--ParanoidAndroid <-- about as witty as this princess gets! lol
I hope everyone pays more attention to Sags posts--sweething mushy

Well the whole point of forums is to discuss issues and what better place to do so.. you ask questions which you don't know the answer to. You also don't seem to have the answer by doing your information searching either so I think my question is perfectly valid - it seems ridiculous to flip out over such a petty thing. The fact that over 1,000 people have viewed this post seems to point to the fact other people would like to know as well...If you haven't got anythjng useful to add then pls don't say it.
