Adore vs Do me baby! Both songs are my all time favorites.
Do me baby, is soooooooooooo seeeeeeeexxy!!!
Adore, is sex, and obsession, on the deepest level, and then some.
Choosing between the two is extremely difficult. But Adore wins by a hair.

I've never really been that crazy about "Do Me, Baby" so "Adore" wins this fairly easily.

I've only heard "do me baby" on the radio by some woman who is not prince but sounds like him. It's kind of a boring song. ADORE wins!

Melissa Morgan and she did a great job

Oh no, not her, i cringed the 1st time i heard the "cover". she doesnt do the song justice at all. these ppl just need to leave Prince music to Prince, please...
But anway, I've always loved "Do Me, Baby". I think that was one of the main reasons the LP was bought when originally released Yes, at 19, I finally saw the Revolution, a legendary band. And I talked to Wendy!!! In addition to seeing Prince, I have now lived life. Thank you Purple People!!

Do Me, Baby slams Adore. Don't get me wrong, Adore is a great song but DMB is classic quintessential Prince. DMB has all of the elements that made Prince's music in the 80's so mystifying, nasty and beautiful. The simplistic nature in which DMB is done makes Adore sound over produced. DMB almost makes me feel like a voyeur when I listen to it, while Adore makes me feel like I'm at the movies watching SOTT.

Exactly my point Yes, at 19, I finally saw the Revolution, a legendary band. And I talked to Wendy!!! In addition to seeing Prince, I have now lived life. Thank you Purple People!!

I like Adore. Do Me Baby is great but a little too harsh in this mix-up/comparison. I agree DMB is a signature Prince tune.

both are some of the best ballads I've ever heard. But I love that Do Me Baby sounds so private, that it is so embarassing for people to listen to it together. I'ts like watching a great love scene together with someone. It sounds even more private than most couples manage to be even in a long relationship. Prince music is good training for loverse, hehe. Being sensual and erotic in a very vulnurable way at the same time.

You seem to be quite the asshole
No harm intended | |

But calling someone an 'asshole' is just fine to you? What does that say about you, then?
No harm intended. | |

'Do Me Baby' is about sex. 'Adore' is about love.
i don't get the need to choose between the two because they are entirely different songs.
I do think in terms of songwriting 'Do Me Baby' is constructed better, though.

Then you can't judge it. You have to hear Prince's version which is WAY better than that remake which I didn't care for. And the ending luv it

I don't think those 2 can be compared. the Intent is different
Do Me Baby should be compared with a song like If the Kid Can't Make U Come

Adore, for the more evolved emotional complexity.
