Hello! Listen to Purplemookie and everyone else! Don't be naive! Prince doesn't do facebook, twitter, or any other social internet sites... He lets news leak via Dr. Funkenstein site or via print news sources or local radio stations... His current philosophy is that "the internet is dead." So, don't buy into the BS...
prince_live is the real thing, his people twitting on his behalf , IMOOK. I think I've discovered something that proves that the account is FAKE.
On 18th December, Prince_Live tweeted a photo showing (supposedly) an empty MSG:

This was followed on 19th December with the following tweet:

If you follow that link to Yfrog, you'll see a photo of a backstage area. We are clearly meant to believe it is the backstage area of MSG for Prince and/or his crew. I downloaded the photo and used TinEye (http://www.tineye.com) to do a reverse image search.
It turns out that the photo of that backstage area was FIRST posted on a blog dedicated to photography (specifically the Leica camera). The shot was taken by Andreas Läsker, manager of a band called Fantastischen Vier. It was taken during one of the band's concerts in Mannheim.

It's the second photo in that blog post, which was made on 12th November 2010.
So: why would an official Prince or LiveNation tweet use an image from somewhere/sometime else and imply it was taken at MSG or during a Prince concert? I think we know: FAKE!

he put down prince.org as his site and he doest even write like P does yet the dude has managed to
obtain 21,000 followers in like 4 hours.

You should prolly add a ? to the title of your Thread. Good way to get your thread deleted. No one know if it official or not. Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. This person is not real Prince. real Prince wouldn't list prince.org as his own site. Too many people pretend to be Prince. Many Princes also on facebook. There is one who never talks or posts, he is always mute, and only adds people. He is also fake. They all fake, except Prince_live on twitter.
