I dont want another triple album from him ever again. I think he has about 15-16 good unreleased tracks. If he wants to do one, he can easily release a single or double album with the best outtakes

And release it with a major label, dont make it hard for fans to access it. The last thing we need is another triple album with lots of filler.

Not much to add other than, IMO, Prince's back catalogue deserves better than to be thrown together with what could be perceived as little thought with poor packaging. At this point a chronological dvd showcasing studio and live rarities would probably garner more success and meet a more comprehensive approval from die-hards and mainstream alike.

I would buy it, but I'd like it to reflect an era.

My personal preference would be to release the remaining songs from Dream Factory/C.B. so we can create a complete version.

I don't expect to like all the tracks. His outtakes are hit and miss, but as a completist, I'd want a chance to hear the tracks and decide if I like them rather than just wondering.

I hope he distributes Crystal Ball 2 better than the last one. I ended up never getting my order and had to fight them about the credit card charge.

Yes he should. I like it when he gives lots to choose from. Filler is objective, so I doubt you'd ever agree on what should have been left off of the previous large albums of Prince. So I'd enjoy another Crystal Ball type, especially if it were Ballads!! I would LOVE that. Or really good dance album like the fast songs on 3121. That would be perfect, in face half and half would work too!

With the release of Neil Young's "Archives" on Blu Ray, I can see Prince putting out his vault material on there as well as having his own satellite radio channel where he can play the music he chooses for it.

It makes sense because he could also throw video footage on there as well as make it a scrapbook of sorts.

Keep in mind, Neil Young put that out last year, he's in his late 60s, and the project took 20 years of talking about it to make it become a reality. Part one covers the first 10 years of his recording career. He hasn't even gotten to the mid 70s. And the stuff he did with Rick James wasn't even included on there.

Neil also faced the same problem Prince does... when you still want to work on something new, going over your old stuff isn't top priority.

Yes, he should let it all come out!
