And Prince's birth certificate says Roger. But one of his early pre WB contracts has it as Rogers.

Presumably they are pretty widely distributed at the time of someone's birth. I've even seen them posted on bulletin boards in the offices of pediatricians and obstetricians.

Now if you feel that buying or sellng such an item is in poor taste, that's another matter. Die hard collectors may beg to differ.

i say it is real, and 'roger' is why. No way ANY faker would use 'roger.'

and it is perfectly fine to sell it, but the seller got much less than it is worth. I suspect it will show up in a real auction and get in the 7 to 10 thousand range.

It is not prince's it never was his. he has NO claim to it what so ever.

But for the people mad at her, just know she either got ripped off ($700 is way less than it is worth) or it was really sold for much more. She must be broke.

If it's him it's also very likely that he already has one of these announcements. Mine was amongst my mother's things when she passed away.
