Prince baby picture/birth announcement

This is probably the youngest picture the public has seen? Im not certain how I feel about this being for sale, you would figure family would want to keep something like this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Princ...4aa78f916b

Not my auction.

I normally joke around but I think thats crossing the line now, thats a very personal item and no one other than family should have that. boxed

Thats wrong, and yeah they said it was their Grandmother's who is Prince's aunt, so it's a distant relative, they should give it to him.. thats wrong, why are you selling it and why the heck would anyone buy that, he's not your family like that lol.

Probably fake. There's no evidence to suggest that it's real.

LOL, in the Q&A's it looks like the seller is making an offer to their self. "You'll offer $660? My husband will offer me $750!"

If there was ever a boxed set (or digital boxed set) of Prince's most accomplished studio tracks, live performances, outtakes, videos, photos, a detailed chronological log of all his professional and artistic activities, this would make a great graphic as an inside foldout lead in.

Aren't birth announcements just sent out and even sometimes published in the newspaper? Not really that private... it's called an announcement. It's a form of publicity.

I sometimes wonder what the point is of a wedding announcement, like say, in the New York Times. It seems to me that old money or old society might not even want such publicity these days.

So is this fake?

Wow. The cover says, "Introducing Me!". Who would have had known that this little baby would become the powerhouse potpourri of talent he is.

It's like, "I am HERE. Where R U?"

"He's a musician's musician..."

You know I think this is real. In one of the Prince bio videos it shows a copy of his birth certificate and it has his middle name as Rodger (which make sense and most people have a first name as a middle name as opposed to a Last name).

I hope the seller get a few grand for this item. It is not the property of Prince and never was, it was given away to someone. So there is no moral or legal reason why the seller should not be able to sell it.

The sad thing is, there is no way to verify it so the seller will not get what it is worth. If it can be verified as authentic then it should be worth thousands. YES thousands!

The seller is a fool for putting it on ebay it should have been in a real well know auction.

Should've found a way to give it to Prince in first place, but on the other side, I agree with you all the way in support of "preserving" or "conserving" it nod

Does it even look like Prince to u guys? I know newborns look really diff. before the features start coming in, but me just askin....
