i am 31 i am not old... i met a 16 yera old girl in the bathroom line who was another die hard fan like me , i agree most fans are older but we youngens still exist...

im 16 and if he comes to detroit i will be there, along with my gf. and i got a couple my friends actually hooked on prince so who knows they might wanna come. but yeah i think he said that to get a younger fanbase going. however, non of his output really gets out to the younger fanbase so im not sure how effective this will be.

I dont think his concerts are any worse than going to see someone like the Pussy Cat Dolls or whats streamed by the media today in to everyones homes.

I guess its how you educate your kids about what they listening to and seeing beyond just the sexual nature of it all.

Plus somewhere in tha vault is a whole loads of childrens themed songs and stories he did with Mayte so maybe he's gonna break out into a new market lol, failing that its a thing he has to honour to spread the good word, as teenagers have already been sucked in to corruption so if you them younger they might be more receptive to the good word lol.

but of course this is Prince who expects Prepayment from itunes so maybe he's looking for pre-fans to secure his next big purchase or even tax bill lol
