I used to know but I keep forgetting: what is the difference again between the 2 different versions/mixes that go around i.e. the Bright Lights Big City-version (1987/88) and the Crystal Ball-version (1998)?

The Crystal Ball version is shorter.I prefer the longer version that's on the 'Bright Lights Big City' soundtrack.

I remember buying the Bright Lights Big City soundtrack back when it was released on cassette just to hear this song,,,kept rewinding and playing back then. Nice lil number in the Camille voice.

I did the same and thought it was the 1st single off Lovesexy. I was so disappointed it wasn't. Lovesexy is good, but nothing on it is as good as this song. Very positive, happy, and funky tune all in one.
