I used to know but I keep forgetting: what is the difference again between the 2 different versions/mixes that go around i.e. the Bright Lights Big City-version (1987/88) and the Crystal Ball-version (1998)? confused

The Crystal Ball version is shorter.I prefer the longer version that's on the 'Bright Lights Big City' soundtrack.

I was obsessed by this track at one point. cool

Track down the Bright Lights Big City soundtrack where it was originally released in 1988, it's a longer version than on CB.

I remember when I first heard it, I thought it was gonna be on his next album & but then Alphabet St. came out & finally the Lovesexy album. I was pissed but I love the album anyways.

I remember buying the Bright Lights Big City soundtrack back when it was released on cassette just to hear this song,,,kept rewinding and playing back then. Nice lil number in the Camille voice.

I did the same and thought it was the 1st single off Lovesexy. I was so disappointed it wasn't. Lovesexy is good, but nothing on it is as good as this song. Very positive, happy, and funky tune all in one.
