Unisex tees... We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. |

If that tee shirt is "anything" like the Lotus shirt, I will pass. There is no way I would ever buy another piece of crap like that. Prince should not use his own body size to compare what large is to small!! My 12 lb one month old baby could not wear the large lotus shirt I got! LOL |

At least it didn't cost $77. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. |

I only wear my Lotus shirt if I'm going to the salon to get my hair done, to the grocery store, or when I'm cleaning up the house. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. |

Why not? Do you have any idea what good quality bulk t-shirts cost? Or screen printing? Because I do. When you are selling the volume Prince does you can EASILY sell a TOP quality t-shirt with screen printing for $20 and make a tidy profit. There is no excuse for the undersized, paper thin garbage that was distributed with the Lotusflow3r site. If these turn out to be the same, again, no excuse. Give your customers quality product if you want them to return. |

Right? "It'll stretch." Umm, no. Get outta here with that undersized unisex panny hose shirt nonsense. |

Actually, some of that "paper thin" fabric is more expensive per yard than that horrid "beefy T" jersey. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. |

OK, clothing geek Not helping. I know it is, but is that they used for the Lotusflow3r shirts? I think not. Those were cheap shirts with low quality silk screening. And I like beefy t's, so nyaa! Regardless, make it CLEAR what is being purchased and it won't be a problem. Describe the material correctly. Give the fabric wieght. The brand name. SOMETHING! Since nobody has received the new ones yet I'm willing to hold off talking TOO much smack about them. But you can see the tag, right? What brand is that? Yeah, I don't know, either. But I'm bettin' it's a cheap foriegn one. |

Also, just as important, STOP with the unisex nonsense. I can understand women not loving a beefy tee (me, love - they last forever). But a thicker tee with a feminine cut would be OK, right? Off brand unisex tee just SCREAMS cheap.
Edit: because as usual I left out a dang word... [Edited 11/11/10 13:15pm] |

Please make sense. Use Goggle for what? Why are you being defensive and what are you insinuating? LiveNation is working as a clearing house for Prince product. Did you even see that someone has already been notified their shirt is going to take an additional four weeks to arrive? If this was something new we wouldn't have anything to say about it. But, ya know, it's not! It's same ol', same ol'. Most of us have been through this before, multiple times. |

The fabric they used for the women's tees was quite nice, actually. Very soft, decent weight and drape (1x1 rib, if I recall correctly)...a little spandex to help the shirt keep its shape. And a fully saturated black.
And again - fabric weight is not a reliable indicator of quality. I have seen 3 oz/sq yd fabric that was far nicer (pima cotton, combed, ringspun and/or mercerized) than 5 oz/sq yd fabric (carded, open-end stock).
But what do I know? I've only been looking at fabrics professionally for 20 years or so. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. |

No need to get defensive punk ass, I already agreed with you about fabric quality. The black on my Lotusflow3r shirt was good, I did appreciate that. But screen printing was crap (I have friends who screen print band tees and posters for a living) and the material, for my tastes, was cheap. The fit, no point even going there. |

Interesting. Wasn't aware that was the case. I thought those were unisex, too. How was the sizing then? I noticed not as many women had issues with the sizes of those shirt, too. I just figured it was because y'all are smaller. |
