Maybe Prince is happy about all of these various "appearance" rumours being leaked, as it means there are lots of articles popping up and lots of talk without him actually having to do anything.

With any luck he's just milking X-Factor for some piggy-back publicity from an unconfirmed rumour that will never amount to anything, much like the "Audience with" debacle and the eternal Glastonbury rumours.

Two things I HATEEEE about this article and about tabloids in general

1. 'Comeback'. As someone already said, but it was the first thing I thought of reading this. Comeback!?! Not 3 years ago Prince sold out and performed 21 nights in London's O2. Since then he's done 3 albums, one of which a double album and he's been performing everywhere :S WHAT COMEBACK!?!?

2. Pint-sized 'popstar' ...... forget the little 'pint-sized' dig, it's 'popstar' that annoyed me most. Hate these tabloids.
