I am looking online at loads of online book sellers for the book Prince: Life & Times by Jason Draper to buy at a discount rate and in all online book stores search engines I type "Jason Draper" and in the results there is always listed another Prince book entitled Prince: Chaos, Disorder & Revolution with the option of pre-ordering it as its not yet released untill next year!!!

Does anyone else know of this new book?? It looks very interesting judging by the cover alone!!!

An educated guess is that this is a softcover version of Life And Times - maybe updated a bit.

Prince always has been under-represented in the book department. It's disappointing walking into Waterstones and seeing nothing on the man.

Some books are available in some countries and some arent!! The 21 Nights book isnt available in the USA, except on import or online, yet the Life & Times book isnt available here in the UK. Madhousemusic hasnt even got the Life & Times book in their stock, despite various fans in the UK that I know asking them about it and requesting it!!!!

As well as Smiths and HMV!! Even when Borders Bookstores were in operation in this country, it was very hard to buy Prince books, except the 21 Nights book!!!

For the record, the author of two of my FAVORITE music books (one about Dr. Dre and one about Death Row Records) is currently writing a book about Prince. I'm very much looking forward to it but have no idea when it's scheduled to be released.

I understand there's another book being written as well but I don't know anything about it. I'm pretty sure I saw it on a site up for pre-order sometime next year.

So Ronnie Ro is going to write about P. This should be good he had a little tidbit about P in the Death Row book so this should be interesting.

I see about 50 copies selling for $5 each every time I go into Borders, and it's been that way for 6 months to a year.. It's definitely available in the US

To have Prince books in a store, someone has to be willing to write them. There aren't even very many books written our published about Prince, so I'm not sure how a bookstore is supposed to carry something that doesn't exist or isn't in print.

And frankly, when books on Prince have been written, they aren't worth the paper they're printed on, with a few exceptions.

I was so disappointed when that Prince In The Studio book got cancelled. It sounded so interesting, a real insight into the man making music. Anyone know what happened? This new book sounds like the usual recycled stuff.
