OMG the comments posted under this thread had me rollin'! I happen to like the Rave outfit and 'do; blue is my favorite color and I loved that he was making a go at cobalt. The hair was so...Prince. Seriously, he changes the styles of his clothes, hair and music every year almost like clockwork. By 1998/99, how much more could he do with the hair other than shave it all off (never--Prince has to stay pretty), a mohawk, or god help us a mullet. He's worn the afro, pressed, long, short, wavy, blow-dried. Mike beat him to the Geri-curl

Just about anything from the Lovesexy era will do for the worst outfit ever. Sartorially speaking, that was like his "WTF" years. He went straight off the reservation in 1988.
