There appears to be a common theme in 2day's society: We tell alittle white lie...or we see what we can get away with and then justify it with "God No's my " I suppose if you've ever worked for a Fortune 500 company or a wealthy business owner...you have at one time decided to take home office supplies ."Hell this company is loaded...they'll never miss one or two reams of paper...I'm taking this home for my childs home printer or take these markers for my childs school project"

I feel guilty about alot of things in my life,,,,downloading his boots and 20Ten are not even remotely close to those things.

No. I just couldn't wait, and wanted to share the experience with everyone else. I'll buy a physical copy when it hits state side thou.

i'm sure God understands it when Prince uses the Bible to veil his love of money.

God even understands it when Prince refuses to refer to Revelation where it specifically states that there will be no buyers nor sellers in the new world.

when Prince refers to the Old Testament to justify his complete lack of logic, yes, God understands.

what God doesn't understand, is when rich people lay a guilt trip on everyday people, just so they can make some more hot cash.

what God is absolutely baffled about is why anyone would do that on Prince's behalf.

and what God simply cannot accept, is Prince's constant complaints, despite everything he has been blessed with in his life.

some people are just happy to get what they get, no matter how big or small.

they express a humble gratitude, expecting nothing more, thus multiplying their bounty of spiritual riches.

others are never satisfied, and whilst their external fortune piles higher and higher, their spiritual life slowly rots away on the inside.

and the cycle repeats all over again, when they whip out the Bible and lean all over it merely to advance their own one-sided interests.

It was just my way of being "Green" by not accepting the newspaper that came with it. It was free after all.

Now i dont have to burn it to disk is all, I'll just insert coins into a news-stand when it is released here and walk away.

It's well documented that while filesharing and downloading are crippling the record compaines, when it comes to concerts, festivals and live performances, people are willing to pay and revenues for artists are actually much higher than they used to be.

i haven't heard the freaking album yet dangit

haven't had TIME to track down a copy for myself.

personally, i think it's bad karma to steal music. i'm afraid it will burn my ears. i'm not boasting, i'm just pissed.

but that's okay. i'm FINE with that, because deep down where it doesn't show at all, prince really does care about his fans. right?

I think that the premise of this thread is deeply flawed. If we are referring specifically to 20ten Prince has been bragging that he already got paid so how can people who "steal" the album be ripping Prince off? That's one of the things that really turns me off about Prince. Oftentimes he seems too concerned about money. Sure, I think he should get paid for his work and if the album is released in Canada I will buy it but until that happens I don't feel the least bit guilty for "stealing" it. If Prince is so concerned about people stealing from him maybe he should give us an alternative?
