Stinky like poo. Just teasing, I do like this song. Kinda/sorta reminds me of a bit of "The Ballad of Dorothy Parker".

I thought the days were over when Prince would ruin a good song by rapping. I actually like the first verse of the rap. I thought he was gonna do an old school Cameo style rap (like in "She's Strange") but it quickly went to the dogs!

I likes.....rap and all....

And that's saying something for me....lol

No one but Prince knows for sure. I don't think this song is about her. It's a good song. One of my favs.

I think it may be about someone that he has crossed paths with many times but has never really been in a relationship with..Besides, Bria doesn't have bright, blue eyes..that's a huge giveaway

Some youtube poster said his dad or uncle or something worked as an engineer for Prince back in the 80s and that this song is from then. I wouldn't be surprised if that's true. Doesn't make it any more or less funky, tho.

From that opening scream and that Linn drum pattern I was hooked, or should I say stuck.

Filled with countering bass and guitar lines, the song shutters and shuffles to a seductive rhythm and then spins you round and round with a dizzy chorus. The only unnecessary part of the song to me is that rap - Prince has rarely pulled off a rap and its better if he just leaves it alone. Thankfully re redeems with a breakdown that has you bobbing your head and wanting to move.

I had a hunch based on the song title this may be my favorite off the album, and sure enough its the funkiest jam on there (to me, anyways). Great song, some more great use of vocals.... Prince is the man, what more can you say?

Some people aren't feel his turn of the century stuff, but I really love it. Musicology to 20Ten, I'm feeling his work.
