If they are, then they could start from scratch .... and let him have the rights to some of his unreleased 80's material.

Just for nostalgic reasons alone, this does sound like good news but then again, keep in mind that all those big shots from the good old days are gone and retired now.

Still, I´d love to see WB and Prince get back together and come up with remastered albums, new releases etc. , plus a bit more quality control like way back in the days.

This being said, I don´t think it is THAT unusual to see Prince pay a visit to WB Records. He´s released the majority of his body of work under their wings, so it´s only natural for him to pay them a visit to discuss business matters and future plans from time to time.

It's about freakin time for some REAL remasters...the 'Sign" discs sound awful.

yup. One of the reasons why I even stumbled upon the org was because lov4oneanother.com sucked completely when it came to real news about Prince.

But Love4oneanother never pretended to be anything other than it was (other than an unregistered charity ).

Dr. Funkensilia or whatever is pretending to know the scoop when he's really little more than a funnel for the Prince camp.

my hope is Prince's future will be bright, and new music will get better, more funky. Like in the good ol' days.

maybe he doesn't like the current direction he's going regarding the vehicles he's been using to output his music.. it's not making the splash he once used to create

he does need a bigger machine behind him.

whatever prince DIDN'T give to WB, HE OWNS. no matter where or when he recorded them.

Example: the crystal ball set.

Thanks. That is all I'm asking. There is n othing wrong with PR (I don't mean Purple Rain). I just wanted to se whether this was gossip or slipped out and all the above makes sense (i.e. there is no negative stuff on DF). Ultimately asking really if this is a business deal. Thanks

I would loooove Prince to get back with warners. He really stood his ground with them and his music was soooo on point with them, but thats thanks to his talent
