2. Lady Caca is one album away from "fad" status herself, so no on that one.
3. Bouncy is prolly his best option for a younger collabo.

How 'bout doing a bit of research and looking into Prince's previous collaborations and how they "worked". (Hint: they didn't.)

i don't think he will work with drake now, but it's just the kinda thing he would have done before drake started putting this record together. he fits the profile of other wrappers who have no talent that have fucked up otherwise half decent prince songs. and he did songs for the movie with the chick from saved by the bell, so why not for the kid from degrassi jr high?

You live in a small world, and your view is that of an old wanker.

Drake is no more of a fad then Prince is now.

Prince has vanashied for 10 years, he could use some help from Drake and the likes. He could probably learn something from the young triple threat.

I see you can't hold a conversation about a nobody wannabe rapper/singer without making it personal. It's a bit indicative of the dude's fan base I guess - all children.

Prince is far from a fad. Fads don't last 30+ years. People will wake up to Drake being a flash in the pan soon enough. Prince has vanished for 10 years? Last I recall, he's still putting out music, and there are a good handful of fan forums dedicated to his music. I don't really see that for Drake.

PS it's "than", not "then". They aren't interchangeable.

i thought about it and yeah drake will prolly be gone in a year or so, time will tell. i mean he comes from a complete different genre and time frame than prince does so trying to compare them doesnt really prove anything. And his fanbase is not all children, it depends where u live and what kind of music u listen to

Don't get a dick. I never said the world revolved around Prince music. In fact, if you knew who the fuck you were talking to, you'd know I'm not a particularly big fan of Prince's output in the past 9 years or so.

Drake wishes he could revolve around someone with an ounce of talent - Lil Wayne not being one of them.

Hey gramps, have you ever listened to Drake, most of his R&B shit is on that Prince vibe, he has not made a track as bad as Purple and Gold yet

You're desperate, and it's not attractive on you. comfort I've heard Drake's "music", and none of it has a Prince vibe. It's cute that you're so hot to trott in your defense of this nobody, but perhaps you should find a better cause to back.

Why do you keep bringing up bad Prince songs to make Drake look good? That only shows how bad Drake really is, withOUT comparison.

Since Drake (Aubrey Graham) is Larry Graham's nephew, I could picture Drake campaigning and pestering his uncle to set up some studio time to get in the studio with Prince to make a song. What would top it would be Larry Graham and Prince both singing and playing and ironically scoring a hit. Also, to show how "serious" he would be about recording with Prince, he would cut out swearing for not that song but their entire record. He's already called out Sade for rejecting his offer, so who's to say he wouldn't do the same with Prince. Prince is so devoted to LG he just might do it out of respect.

If P is tryin' to become more "Urban", this wouldn't be a bad step but, we all know he'd never go that route. I was suprised he had Chuck D., Eve and Q-tip do somethin' with him.

Peace ... & Stay Funky ...

Yes, you blind puppet, I have. One of his dismal videos was posted in another thread about him. I've also seen him perform (I used that word loosely) on television. I know who that dumb motherfucker is, and what he's about.

Gheezus, makes me wanna pull out my Milli Vanilli LPs. At least, behind the lip syncing, they had some very talented people singing those songs.

How has Prince vanished over the last to 10 years. He did a hugh tour in 2004 and has made major T.V apperences every year since and has toured Europe and put out several CDs.

The reason we are saying Drake sucks is because every year some no-talent wannabe is going to be the next big star and they never make it beyond 5 years. If I wrote out a list it would be 10 pages long with names of the next big star that is going to take over the industry. We have heard it all before and we have seen the results.

How can Drake teach P anything? Is Drake going to teach P how to play an instrument? How to write classic pop and RnB that people will want to hear 30 years from now? Come back when Drake has been around 30 years from now or even makes it past 5.

Wow never heard of the Time, Vanity Six, The Family. I know all of these groups are not pop/rock bands the only music that matters to some of you but they were good projects and he has written songs for other artist that worked out to. Sheena Easton and working with Madonna on The Like A Pray cd.

Sometimes he had success sometimes he did not but it does not matter because he is not going to work with Drake.
