I Googled it and there's all sorts of discs and stuff in the search results that I'm not sure are legit. http://en.wikipedia.org/w...Undertaker This recording was made in a continuous single live-in-the-studio pass in collaboration with NPG drummer Michael Bland and bassist Sonny T. Prince originally intended to give this live CD away free with 1,000 copies of Guitar Player magazine in 1994 (uploading an original The Undertaker CD to iTunes, shows the year 1995 as the year the CD was "released"), but he was reportedly barred by Warner Bros. from doing so. Copies were leaked and bootlegged. The songs were guitar-heavy versions of rock and blues numbers, including a cover of The Rolling Stones' "Honky Tonk Women" and new recording of "Bambi" (originally from 1979's Prince). The title track was a cover of a song previously given to Mavis Staples, while "The Ride", "Zannalee", and "Dolphin" would all be re-recorded future releases. A video recording of the performance is in circulation with small edits throughout the performance and "Dolphin" replaced by the official video of the song from The Gold Experience. Track listing 1. "The Ride" – 10:54 2. "Poor Goo" – 4:26 3. "Honky Tonk Women" – 3:00 4. "Bambi" – 4:49 5. "The Undertaker" – 9:50 6. "Dolphin" – 3:40 1994...I don't know what was going on in my life at the time, but I completely missed out on this. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

?? That's the kind of new film that I WOULD KILL FOR. Imagine the possibilities of a current Prince show (LF/MPLS Tour) shot in IMAX or something like that, with a minimal yet worthy/interesting plot or staged interviews or whatever I agree,'Sign O The Times' is truly his best film.I watch it much more often than I watch the other three movies.

I agree,'Sign O The Times' is truly his best film.I watch it much more often than I watch the other three movies. In all fairness, it's a concert film, like The Song Remains The Same, and a million others. Do we want to see him perform live? Of course we do. He's a musician. He's not an actor. I think "movie" is a bit superflous; a bit too much of a broad stroke of terms. Of course I'd love to see a concert 'movie', but do I want to see him emote and try to act his way out of a paper bag? Nope. No thanks.

Unless it's a concert film, no. Then again, maybe, ONLY if he does not direct and avoids asserting too much creative control.
I change my mind...NO! | |

...interesting...maybe in an "adult" version of the movie??? Phallus-shaped candies everywhere? Or just an eccentric, reclusive, playful strange little person with an artistic and musical bent who lives in a world of his own creation. Doesn't sound like much of a stretch to me .It would be the only type of role I could see Prince playing in which people would take him seriously.

I also think the original was a film that Prince liked. Anyway many of Johnny Depps movies could easily have had a character in them played by price. Can you imagine if all the oopa-loopa's looked like Prince and sang in perfect harmony with eachother? It would have been hilarious but unbelievably cool at the same time. I wish he would give it another try, but as everyone has said, ONLY have the same amount of control or less that he did in making "Purple Rain". There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.

he talks in the Ebony interview of wanting to play Little Richard in a movie. I think he would make the BEST little Richard and I think Little Richard thinks so too!!! I hope somebody reads the article and gets the idea to give such a movie serious thought. Little Richard, like Prince, has the God/Sex thing going on big time. 1. I would like to see Prince in another movie. I just rather not want him to be the director of it.
2. Under The Cherry Moon is an awesomely bad film that is still fun to watch (Prince/Jerome predated the Corey Hain/Corey Feidman kind of bromance! ). On the other hand, Grafitti Bridge is an awesomely bad film that should have NEVER existed. THIS film destroy Prince's career as an potental Hollywood actor, never mind director.
3. 3 Chains Of Gold should have been released in selected threaters across North America & Europe. It's underrated and way better than Grafitti Bridge.
