Why is prince so fascinated with femininity ? i think prince stated that he likes the female voice better on slow records than a male voice
hes uses "Camille"
he dresses kinda feminine and i think he said he had a female alter -ego or something like that (dont quote me lol)
he always works with women
i can tell he thinks very highly of women and our feminine quality but who can blame him
but what can i say, we women exclude a gracefulness that no man can replicate .....ok ok now im just getting ahead of my self (genderwars)
but why do you think princi-pal is so influence by women and femininity ??

There is nothing graceful about a good old 'fanny fart' now is there? |

Prince is just kind of transexual. He said as much in the Oprah interview. |

Don't forget about Larry Graham. He appeared to love working with Larry. I've never heard him as excited about any other artist but Larry Graham. Not sure if that is because he was trying to market Larry for his Label at the time. I heard Larry Graham on a radio interview back in May stating that he and Prince continue to work together and to "jam together". I've never heard any of their jams though.
As far as the femininity is concerned, oh heck nevermind. My statement would cause too much Controversy Although I'm your biggest fan...I'm also your biggest critic. Can you deal with that? |

Because the second greatest battle of all (unfortunately, for the most part), is the battle of the sexes. And the greatest battle of all is that with yourself. Jung was close or even spot on: the anima and the animus. And Prince has, ahem, got 2 sides: AND THEY BOTH FRIENDS. --------

There are all kinds of variations in masculinity and feminity when it comes to gay men. Prince just happens to be one of the feminine ones. Andy is a four letter word. |

I love that "fanny" has a totally different meaning in the U.K. than it does in the States. "Fanny" is just an awesome word no matter how you take it. |

I don't think prince is interested in femininity per se. I think he is more interested in smashing gender boundaries. |

I think he simply found something that got people talking, and interested in him..then ran with it. But after over 30 years of it, Im sure its forever a part of his real persona now. |

Ha ha. I'm NOT disputing that particular Prince lyric (from my Name is Prince). Still, you in your awesome knowledge may be right. After all, you know more about Prince than Prince himself.
Btw, I like the 'maybe'. You're learning, lol (just being ironic. No worries). --------

Women are men's NATURAL counterparts and you make us better men by incorporating the feminine aspects of tis or that. P's music and person had me sit back and say "yeah, I'm cool with that too and I recognize that about myself". |

There is an incomparable BEAUTY to a woman. Their form, their manners, their hair, their scent... it is all a representation and extension of The Divine. That is what makes a woman so special. Beauty inspires. I think Prince APPRECIATES a woman for this and even admires the qualites of such because he knows it is a form of God. Prince is CLEAN and takes very good care of himself, other than that, he screams ALL man and then some. He cant help being pretty |

Well, you didn't have to dumb it down for me
Anyway, I'm sure Prince learned along time ago that he has what it takes for the ladies and since that is his core fan base-why not play to the audience. It sells and dammitt he does it well |

I personally think that the most ridiculous I have ever seen Prince is that muppet show pic where he has a plaid shirt on in front of the corn field. But you put him in a hat and a blouse... like when he was singing Mountains.... and for some reason he seems at home.
I have never seen him act like a sissy.
We are all so full of here |
