Wow, long list with some nice selections. Some of these I haven't heard--but most I have. If you could pick one (or two) favs off your list of P songs, which would you pick? I know that's a tough one! I decided last week that if I had to pick one "official" Prince album as my top fav-it would be the Gold Experience. But who knows, that will probably change in time, too!

You should settle for one version of most of them songs: surely you could do without four takes of For Love..I'd cut back on the associated artists...did I not see Erotic City, Damn U or Condition of the Heart in there?

That is the case with For Love. I have just recently ripped a lot of these associated artists vinyl to MP3, so I want to play them and decide later on which one I like the best.
All these versions are ace, actually. And as I most often play these lists on shuffle, it doesn't matter I got two versions of the same song, actually...

Same with stuff like Jaguar; I haven't made up my mind on which one I like better; Mavis' version or Prince's.

And there's even non-Prince material on there that I like enough to sneak on the list anyways. (grin)

Erotic City is on there. Twice; Prince's version and George Clinton's cover of the song, just cuz it is so fucking groovy.
Damn U is on there as well, but Condition Of The Heart is not. That's on the dedicated Ballad-playlist.
