It's totally awesome, if only for the version of Gett Off on which Prince, Rosie Gaines and Michael B are doing the scream together in the beginning.

C'mon people, do awake!

That's been out for over 2 years now!

A lame compilation of stuff that was circulating in fan circles and the net for quite some time.

Get it, press it, and voilá, make profit.

If you're talking about 'Wow!' from Eye Records, YES, it's been out for more than 2 years.

If you're not talking about that, then you're not talking about Eye Record's 'Wow!'.

Thank you. I did not read "Wow" as a title. I read it as "wow" - an exclamation. Because it is my understanding that there is something new in the pipeline.

I thought so, Genesia. That one's not out yet, AFAIK.

That's what people get when they start threads with too much text to read, much too long headlines, and a truckload of redundant information.

^^ Yes, a "new"outtake compilation is said to come out.

As we couldn't expect otherwise, they'll be including the FREE FOR ALL Box O'Chocolates amongst other stuff which is already circulating for free.

Shame on those who buy!

You forgot to mention the official stuff, the ambient loop and all the other already booted-to-death filler tracks. lol

If it's not outtakes, I guess you mean live stuff.

Haven't heard of Eye releasing anything 'totally new'.

There were some rumors of them releasing the Paisley Park show from last year, this is what could be meant here. However, I feel these rumors are going a bit too long to finally come true.. But i could be wrong here...

They were preselling it a while back. (I didn't bite, but I'm sure some did.)

since the other thread that just got started on this bootleg got locked, I'll ask my question here:

what's the Tamar stuff sourced from? the original pressed disc that got semi-/accidentally-/leaked/released/whatever in Japan? or those 256 kbps mp3's that were going around originally?

also, the Damn U sax mix is new to this, right? where did it come from? i mean, its original purpose/source. is it another New Power Madhouse era outtake? something intended for a single? what?

No idea about the source of the Tamar album, but just for the sake of doing this right I honestly hope they got from an actual CD or at least clean .flac rips!

The "Damn U sax mix" featured on the set is actually one of the most interesting pieces on the set due to its "rarity". It's sourced from a 7" acetate that got sold on e-bay a few years ago. Can't remember what was supposed to be on the A side (Blue Light? maybe The Max?), but it was going to be a US single, and this version of "Damn U" was going to be the B-side. Very much like that "sax version" of "TMBGITW", they just took the album version, erased the vocals and had Brian Gallagher or whoever playing sax on top. No biggie, still nice.

from Alex`s excellent sleevographiasite The Speciality test pressing from which the instrumental of Damn U was sourced. B side of a never released 7" of sweet baby/damn U(instr) cool
