There were 2 more testpressings for unreleased singles in '93. I can't remember the details from memory and I'm too lazy to check my data.

The only 'novelty', anyway, was a 'New Edit' of 'Love 2 the 9s' on a b side.

^Correct. Fortunately that's the part edited out.

And there's a sort of break with some scratching that's not on the album version.

I found the info. The intended singles were:

Sweet Baby b/w Damn U (Sax Mix)

Blue Light b/w Walk Don't Walk

Love 2 The 9s (New Edit) b/w The Morning Papers

So that New Edit of L2T9s was going to be the A Side.

There were also...

The Continental (Edit) b/w Tell Me How U Wanna B Done (Edit)

The Max (b-side unknown, but multiple remixes were made for the a-side)

Not outtakes. Something totally new.

Ok, I had totally forgotten because I saw there was nothing interesting to wait for, but now I've remembered they're about to release (or maybe already did) the 2 1987 Vienna shows plus the Club U4 one off gig and the full version of the 1998 Café de Paris show.

I haven't listened to the stuff yet but here is my bet:

Most probably, the 2 Vienna main shows come from the 'Vienna' 3 cd set by Xpert which was released some 6 years ago, as it's the best source for them and the Club U4 gig will most probably be ripped from 'Masquerade', released FOR FREE by Giotto Records nearly 2 years ago. Again, it's the best source that ever existed for that gig.

And, what a casuality, the full Café de Paris gig -which had NEVER circulated COMPLETE- was released FOR FREE by Confusion Records as far back as last September.

So, as you see, there's nothing "new" from Eye Records: they keep on ripping already circulating recordings and charging fans for them. I wish they'd prove me wrong and release totally new and astounding sources but just let's wait and see...

I'm sure I won't be wrong. Well, what might be 'new' on these releases would be their lame remastering...

What a bunch of losers! mad

^Sadly, as expected, I was right.

The Vienna Ball boot by Eye Records is out and they definitely ripped Xpert release for the Vienna main show (just one of them, they didn't include the 2nd show) and the U4 gig comes directly from 'Masquerade' which Giotto Records had already shared for free. They completed the 'theft' by adding the soundcheck from the (free) fan release Soul Salsa.

So congratulations, Eye Records, you've really hit rock bottom. This is what I call love for music...
