I just saw her post on Twitter just a few minutes ago myself! I'm thinking she meant the music just knocked her off her feet. She was privy to hear his new music and of course was sworn to secrecey/gag order etc. All she could say was that she can't wait for it's release so to me that saying the music is hot/dope/all that! It's too bad that he's had negative write ups and that Lotus Flower has disappointed so many people.

I'll try before i buy. Then i may pass.

D&P aren't 'the greatest tunes I've ever heard,' Emancipation wasn't the album he 'was born 2 make,' MPLSound wasn't 'Controversy - The Saga Continues'...the list goes on and on, right up until the radio DJ comments about Cause & Effect before they played it. It's nice for people to be excited about the music but it's soooo much better to not believe the hype when it comes to Prince.

well, you know.... she didn't have to say anything. she'd already tweeted about him being at the show and getting inspiration from her visit to Paisley Park and hanging out with him. if she didn't like what she heard, she would have left it at that. so obviously she was impressed or she wouldn't have said anything about it at all. she is not in the business of doing Prince's PR work for him. she's doing her own.

anyway, it's new music but who's to say it's new music that we
will ever hear?

for all we know he's been playing her "the divine" before he'd
put it in the vault forever, lol.



i'm sure he didn't play "cause n effect" for her. probably some
weird, totally tripped funk n bass shit that he's gonna just be
sticking in the vault in favour of "mr goodnight Pt 2"
