Unseen Prince Photos From 1975 Not sure if these have been posted yet in this forum. Thanks Elle85n09 for the link.
TWO PHOTOS ONLY. ONE OF PRINCE. ONE OF ANDRE.
PRINCE & ANDRE ANDERSON (CYMONE) PHOTOS. PHOTOS OF GRAND CENTRAL THEIR FIRST BAND. NOTICE THE INITIALS G C ON THE DRUM KIT. I DID LIGHTEN PICS 3 & 4 TO SHOW THE G C INITIALS BETTER. THE FIRST TWO PHOTOS ARE EXACTLY AS SCANNED. THESE PHOTOS WERE TAKEN AT A BASEMENT REHEARSAL/JAM IN MARCH OF 1975. THE PHOTOS WERE TAKEN BY A NEIGHBORHOOD FRIEND AND HAVE BEEN IN A FAMILY ALBUM FOR THE LAST 35 YEARS. THIS FRIEND HAS FALLEN ON HARD TIMES AND ASKED ME TO SELL THE PICS TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER. THERE ARE A FEW SMUDGES AND THE PICS ARE CURLED A LITTLE. BOTH PICTURES ARE CLEAR AND 100% AUTHENTIC. GOOD LUCK!!! SALE OF THIS ITEM IS FINAL. NO RETURNS ACCEPTED!! TONKA TUNES 2313 COMMERCE BLVD. I like that Prince is using a boom mic and the band initials are put on the drums with electrical tape. It's very humble. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

(in public anayway) Could that be Morris on drums? I would give my left nut to find out what song they were playing? The purchase would be more interesting if the seller had more pics and more detailed information about the pics, and this was just a tease to get you to pay $999.99. Then it may be worth the price. That's what's so cool about images like these... Reminds us of the journey dude has taken. 35 years ago, did the dude in that pic have any idea of the life that was ahead of him? Shame the view of the drummer is obscured, as there's a chance it could be Morris Day. More likely to be Charles Smith, though. |
