Make your Prince rock guitar album

Use only versions from official releases (omit live performances since we know it is a tiotally different ball game when Prince does some songs live).

I would have to start offf with these old school classics:

I'm Yours (young Prince pulls out every trick he knows on this over the top jewel)

Bambi (hard rock and lesbianism - how can you go wrong?)

Little Red Corvette (Dez Dickerson's solo - nuff said)

Purple Rain (what hard rock guitar album would be complete without the iconic power ballad anthem with the guitar hero posturing?)

Let's Go Crazy (of course)

Zannalee (good old fashion rock n roll guitar)

Chaos and Disorder

I Like It There

Right the Wrong (OK, almost all of the Chaos and Disorder album)

Calhoun Square

More recent essential tracks to be included:

Fury (as great a rock song as Prince has ever made and proof that he still has it)

Dreamer (shades of Hendrix and a true Prince original al at once)

Crimson and Clover (the best cover of this tune for my money)

Just for the sake of having a completely different list....

Endorphinmachine - (I know, we don't like the version on TGE, but it still rocks)

Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad (Nothing needs to be said about this one)

Peach (Wouldn't be a rock album with out your I-IV-V structured song)

Guitar (Fun little rocker, not every song has to be serious or have some deep meaning or something)

Dolphin (It Rocks, period.)

ICNTTOYM (Once again, nothing needs to be said about this one)

Wall Of Berlin (Good guitar on this track)

Interactive (Hard hitting, thumpin' song)

Empty Room/It's Gonna Be Lonely (Either can be good rock love ballads)

Bonus Tracks could be stuff from the Rebel's project
Thrill You or Kill You
You
Hard To Get
Too Long
chill..prince doesnt like men being front row, makes it hard to sing the ballads

The entire "Undertaker" CD with the Mar 29, 2009 L.A. Conga room CD. P strangled the guitar that night on every song.

I'd probably add the long version of "Sexy Dancer" and "Rock Hard In A Funky Place" too.

There's the official Undertaker VHS and the lotusflow3r download, so don't they make it valid?
