So much better when we take it easy... (Slow Love) All I can say is I'm a romantic at heart.... I absolutely love this song! Sign O' times is such a great album.. I haven't heard many people talk of this ballad...
So for all of you ballad fans out there... Do you have any love for "Slow Love"? I love this song. In fact, I think it's the best ballad on the album. I've never been a fan of Adore, and I think Forever in My Life is good, but Slow Love is amazing. It's beautiful, romantic, and sexy. | |

Slow Love is good, I love it too. If Prince would make a "Love songs" album this song should be on it.
But... I love the other ballads on the excellent Sign "☮" The Times album even more.... the other songs are just even better, but in the movie Slow Love works fantastic, a very sexy ballad, the SOTT Movie version is just excellent. 9/10. --- [Edited 3/1/10 10:22am] Prince 4Ever.  | |

I think Slow Love is a very pretty song, too! It makes me wish for a rainy day with a man lying next me!

I couldn't stand this sappy slow love birdie song for listens on listens, until I started craving it? Aha, funny how that works out.

Like Efan, it's my favorite ballad on SOTT. Adore is great, but Slow Love tops it by quite a bit, IMO. The emotion in Prince's vocal delivery is awesome! As JF said, it's fun to sing along with. This is just an amazing song overall, one of his greatest soppy ones, up there with Damn U, Scandalous, Adore and Instatiable. Take it - like Clarence said:

Fantastic song...Wendy's guitar and background voice add a lot while being not much IMHO. Did that make sense?
