I liked Prince the first time I heard him singing on the radio...the song was Bambi...what year was that 79? I didn't see Prince until Controversy and that's when I was hooked!!!

Let's see...I got the Batman soundtrack in 1989, and LOVED it. But, for whatever reason, I didn't listen to anything else by Prince until Musicology in 2004. It took a while for that album to grow on me, but once it did I started collecting all the albums...in whatever order I could find them.
By the time 3121 came out, I was hooked.

1paradise	Since 1978 "For You" album and had some of his stuff from befor he went solo. I still have "Prince" on 8-track, cassette, vinyl. LOL Just LOVE......................... All it's FREE!!!!

I've heard Prince music since I was a five year old because my favourite movie was Tim Burton's Batman. lol

I wasn't a hardcore fan though till around early 2003.
