the best was leaning backwards off the stage while ripping off his best guitar solo with a bodyguard pushing him back up, then throwing the infamous Telecaster up in the air at after melting everyone's domes and then pimp walking off the stage - all without losing the red brim on his head.

THAT was PRINCE at his best. I agree, Prince did his thing that night. Him throwing that guitar up in the air and then he walks off stage like he did was so cool. I think he made a strong statement that night and 2 close that night with that was great. I take it as Prince's way of saying 2 the world: Sexual Chocolate! LOL! | |

Act II in 1993, his entrance on stage was really something. There was a cage-like swing above the audience near the ceiling. "My Name Is Prince" started and at one point everyone was just looking at this cage moving slowly toward the stage. Globen Ice Rink in Stockholm, Sweden is probably at least 40 metres high so of course all this was impressive. How long has he been up there???
Anyway, out from the cage walked not Prince, but Mayte. Prince came from backstage, with his chain hat on and rapping ".. but on the 7th day he made me!" Brilliant entrance! Most of you probably have the "Rave" DVD. After having this slap bass moment with Larry Graham, he throws his bass to his assistant on the side. He doesen't throw it in the air, the bass kind of slides or even RUNS on the floor and it's so fast! Of course, there are plenty of places where he throws guitars too like they don't matter. There was a clip not too long ago from some award show where he actually won something, and played "Don't Play Me". After he finished, he actually just flips the acoustic guitar over his head and it smacks on the floor. The overall mood is hilarious and the man who is filming all this from close distance is laughing and Prince is all down with this, smiling and clapping to the camera.
