it wouldn't be the first time prince has posted live audio or video that's been circulating as a bootleg before (ie. strange relationship from 21/03/87 first avenue). if it was from prince himself, why not post something we haven't seen before, surely there are other rehearsal tapes or early gigs he could have teased with instead of something that most fans have had on vhs since the early 90s, and loads more fans on dvd (due to the rise in internet file sharing and ease of copying)

Prince did not put these out. A fan just got very rambunctious about it. They also had a ton of other Prince items on their page, which might end up going bye bye at some point.

"Something In The Water" is still up too.

PS the sucky part of these videos, especially "When Doves Cry" is that the sound is off. When you see Wendy tapping her foot, she's hitting a drum machine pad. She's tapping on the 1 and 3, not the 2 and 4. Also, when Prince claps, it's on the 1 and 3, not the 2 and 4. Also obviously is their mouths and the sound are not synced. I think my VHS is synced though.

I was having a rare, blue Tuesday yesterday, because of the ugly, rain/snow we had in NYC on Tuesday. So when I signed on here, and saw the thread. I then checked out the video, as I thought it was okay to do since it supposedly came from a news station online source, and when I watched him performing in the "When Doves Cry" vid, in the middle of that performance, all of a sudden, it looked like Prince just finished giving a good sermon at a church and suddenly caught the spirit, and was dancing like he was doing the "Preacher man walk and stomp" dance across the room, with a touch of James Brown. Loved it!

I had such a good laugh, and I mean that in good way. It was fun watching Prince feeling the music as he rehearsed. Whether that vid was an intentional leak, all I have to say is thanks, and I wish he would sell rare vids like that on his official site for LF members.

another interesting thing is the choreography is basically sketched out already
(cept for the "preacher" steps). And the whole Hold the hand up so the band stops on the One thing.

Only got to see the "When Dove's Cry" video.
