The comment from Zaza made me laugh.... lol

the truth is: Prince doesn't care about his fans... and that's sad, unfortunately this reputation will follow him forever.. the lawsuits and this cheating,

I'm just happy I didn't pay those $77 to get: nothing.... and I won't pay another amount next time he is trying to cash in on us... sad

How can you say he doesn't care about his fans? I think all of us that went to one of his Celebrations in the early 00's would disagree.
Name another big name artist that takes his fans to see Minority Report!Lol.

I know he doesn't always make the right choice by his fans, but they're his choices. I'm just glad to be going along for the ride.

I think he could do all of these things people here have said they want (BRATS) and SOME of you would still complain about it. Let him handle his music his way. If he doesn't want to put it out maybe he just doesn't think it's good enough. Prince is like your crack, you need more and more but you know what sometimes the deeler is out and you have to go through your withdrawl but it'll make it great when you finally do get it. But as soon as it's gone you'll be complaining again.....
I'd like to challange you to something.
For one day just look at the positive of everyone you encounter. For one day!!

I would love to make a dinner for Prince, but I would need advance notice, and an idea of what food he was in the mood for, we would have kisses between the courses to cleanse our palate, and a lady in the tramp moment would be cute too

all of these things are explaining that he hasn't done more for his fans..he obviously does care about his fans if he puts those media out for fans to see in the first place. I'm not trying to start some huge arguement or be provincial, but I really think that we just aren't thankful for what he has done..we always want more and maybe giving into that doesn't define the love that he has for his fans.

My my, you play this record over and over, don't you? You must be so unhappy!

Are you a recording artist? I don't think so - if you were, you would see what is so inherently wrong about your personal demands.

I have yet to meet a fan of mine who demanded anything from me and, if they did, I sure wouldn't take too kindly to it!

If 30-odd official releases, 3 feature films, half a dozen live videos/dvds, countless tours and the endless boots you (probably) get your hands on aren't enough then, as has been pointed out, nothing will ever be enough for you. Perhaps Prince doesn't care for a fan that doesn't give their obsession a health check?!

^ whatever... your memory is short, I guess you weren't a member of housequake.com,

and I guess you don't remember the ridiculous lawsuit against Uptown either.

30+ albums, hmmm yeah that's a lot to be gratefull for, unfortunately Prince hasn't made a brilliant album since the Gold Experience in 1995.

Do I need a "health check" just becuz I need to have his classic albums in re-mastered sound, or dvd's from his tours ?

lol... wink razz

If you really think that Prince hasn't made brilliant album since Gold Experience you need to get your ears checked.

are you talking about Newpower Soul, Rave, Musicology, 3121, Planet Earth.. ?those are half good/ half bad albums imo. 5 or 6 out of 10. I agree TRC and LF/MPLS are a little better, about 8/10.

"The Dance" Isn't that your name? I do believe that was after "The Gold Experience" and an amazing song at that. One of my faves smile
Your right back to the subject at hand. I don't think you have answered. What would you serve him for dinner?

Please, people stay on topic! I specifically asked "If Prince came over for dinner, what would you fix?" Not Prince's legal issues, which I don't give a damn about! Reagardless of much we bitch and moan,he still is going to do what the fuck he wants to do! I am not trying to be mean, but do answer the question asked of you and stop trying to cock block! Thank You!

^^ ShortNsweet: I have to disappoint you a little, "thedance" is short for "Danceelectric" which was taken by another orger. "Danceelectric" was my user name at housequake.com, my user name is not taken from the song and, I don't like "the dance" (the song) that much, sorry to disappoint you.

On topic:

To answer the question.. I live in a small appartment, so I think I would invite him to town, eating a juicy steak with Prince, but hmmm he's a vegetarian, he can have the sallad bar then.

If he popped over unexpectedly he'd have to settle for broccoli, carrots, beetroot & cherry tomatoes. A pear or two in natural form for dessert. Of course I'd make him a noodle soup to supplement the lack of meat but I don't have tofu in house.

Just kidding, no I would probably make him a vegetarian lasgana with a yummy salad on the side. He would a glass of Tropicana orange juice and I would have a glass of red wine. And, for dessert a hot fudge sundae with purple sprinkles on top! lol Anybody got any ideas?

i'd sit him down, tell him in great detail what a wonderful meal we're
gonna have and wet his appetite.

30 minutes later i'd say "i'm running a bit late" and give him some
dry bread.

30 minutes later i'd say "almost ready" and give him a glass of tap
water.

30 minutes later i'd quietly leave the house, taking his shoes and
his wallet.

I wouldn't open the door, so he'd probably end up next door at the house where the weird cheshire cat with the man's face lives.

I live alone, so as a rule, I do not open the door for strangers. I mean hey, if I showed up at his house for dinner, would he let me in?

hah! I remember this question was asked a long time ago in a different way. I wrote this long, lengthy, super healthy menu that had some orgers asking for the leftovers. Silly gal I was back then. I blame the whole Te Amo Corazon video. lol I wanted to feed him just like that lady did in the vid.

Now?

We'll have strawberry soy milkshakes, Caesar Salad, and organic breath mints. Then I'll pull out the old pedicure kit and he can pamper me. Like the rest of y'all, I kinda want some service after the uh...fiasco of certain flower-y sites. wink
