The Morning After, yay or nay! I really like this song. Those new wave keyboards remind me of his Dream Factory work. This is no classic but it is a real good song, beyond the cutesyness of the vocals. All you others say Hell Yea!!

I LOVE it! It was my favorite song on the download version of the album. I really don't care for his version of Crimson and Clover and thought this song was a better fit. I realize I am in the minority on this. Making love and music are the only things worth fighting for.

Nice peppy flowing track. I love these types of songs from Prince. Nothing too heavy just light breezy fun! When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

You're not alone; I feel the same way. I love "The Morning After". For some reason, it kinda/sorta reminds me of "Raspberry Beret". RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I love it! Songs like this one as well as 4Ever, The One U Want 2 C and Cinnamon Girl are excellent examples of Prince's ability to write exceptional pop songs. Dad. Cartoonist. Illustrator. TOPPS Star Wars and Walking Dead Illustrator. Film Illustrator. JEDI. PRINCE Fan. www.theartofprince.com

It's not bad, but probably the weakest on the album. But I wouldn't drop it from the album. I can definitely hear the Dream Factory vibe on this one. Reminds me of "Train" and "Teacher, Teacher".
So yeah, I'll give it a "yay", but it's a more subdued "yay" than a full out exclamated "yay!". Toejam @ Peach & Black Podcast: http://peachandblack.podbean.com
