Not a bad analysis.
But he won't retire just yet. He's got too much music still to give.
Hear that Prince? I hope you're working hard on a follow up to LF. cool

Wow, u really shouldn't hit that blunt on an empty stomach. Have some breakfast first.

Besides, every one knows that 3121 is backward for 1213, move the one to the end and get 2131, subtract one hundred and get 2031, and finally invert the last two numbers to get the proper calender year.

2013

The Mayan's predicted that the year after 2012, the inevitable end of the world, that Prince will be retired.

I watched this last night. What a load of shit. The Yanks are hoping to find safe haven in South Africa? Good luck. They'll be dead within a fortnight.

Very underwhelming movie. I wanted to see more disaster and less typical heroics. I have a question. Is Hollywood incapable of killing off the main cast and giving a bad ending or are the American people too soft of heart to handle seeing it?

31-21=10, as in 2010. It means that 2010 will a year in which Prince does something.

31-21=10. That means that Prince will only release 10 albums after 3121.

31+21=52, 52*7=364, the amount of money a seat will cost at Prince's next tour.

Actually the calendar just ends at that point. Everyone else read into it that the world would end. The eternal mystery is why does the calendar end at December 12, 2012. It was modern man, conspiracy theorists, and fools, who read into it that the world would end.

I don't think Prince will ever announce retirement, although he has in the past at age 25 or something ridiculous. Even Madonna announced repeatedly she wasn't going to tour anymore. She eventually said, "Whenever I say that, don't believe me." Prince has music in him too much to retire. Not that he'll be whittling out songs, but rather the NEED to just play and hear notes and melodies and rhythms. I don't think any musician ever stops playing. But putting out content is another issue. I think he'll scale back as time goes on. He sort of has already. He used to release things yearly, but now it's a 2 year cycle. He's already slowed down a bit on that level. Perhaps he finally realizes the market saturation idealism, or he's just throttling back a bit for financial, personal, or business reasons. Nothing bad, just a different approach. (All conjecture, of course).

Of course I meant to make fun of this entire thread. It would take the end of the world for Prince to retire.

Hey if the Rolling Stones, Carole King, Burt Bacharach and Barbra Streisand still tour and release albums (And they are all in their 60s and 70s) why the heck can't Prince, it seems your never too old to rock and roll. Honestly some of these people are fossils, but some still really have it in them like Elton John (Did you see his jump a few weeks ago by the piano). The man is an overweight 62 year old, yet on stage its like he's 25 all over again.
So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time
