Colonized Mind

The Hendrix ripoff in dreamer bothers me too much, it spoils an otherwise great song

Those are 2 of the best songs on the album. "Dreamer" has the guts, while "Colonized Mind" just drips with a sophisticated cool and an unexpected chorus.

I love both, but Dreamer edges out Colonized Mind because it's harder-hitting, and I find the lyrics to be a bit more agreeable.

Another example of an ass trying to put his poison in someone elses thread. A hater at his best. 95% of his posts are just plain nauseating.

I say "Colonized Mind". But, they're both on point and should be used as examples of awareness to the masses. Too many people, just push this off as "another one of Prince's rants", and don't realize that this type of ideals does STILL exist in today's times.

Ernest's views of these songs, reflect the sad nature of MANY Americans. His past posts have dismissed these songs as attempts of "forced" social commentary. Just insulting to come across his pathetic dismissive posts. Just an opinion. Preach on P, some of us understand where ya comin from Brah!!!

Prince has got to have THE most colonized mind of any celebrity. What with his patent leather hair, and color-struck mindset...
Loving the irony of that song title.

Colonized Mind, easy. Dreamer is too much of a rip-off, and weaker in substance.

Actually the more I listen to "Colonized Mind" I'm beginning to appreciate more and more. The guitar has a bluesy B.B. King sound and Prince's vocals in the song reminds me a bit of a song I could see Bob Dylan singing. However, I still ove "Dreamer".

Both are in the Top 3 in my Survivor series. Nut I choose dreamer by an inch, don't get me wrong Colonized mind is still mind blowing and a worthy adversary. But Dreamer is just Prince at his absolute best. An album full of songs at the "Dreamer" level would really cement his status as a rock God. Colonized mind would at least make him an immortal hero like Hercules. Love like Jazz less so.
So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time
